Geodis, a global logistics provider, has announced the promotion of Veronique Dameme to the position of chief commercial officer (CCO) for its global freight forwarding division, effective today. Dameme, who joined Geodis in October 2025 as sales director for healthcare and life sciences, brings more than three decades of experience in the logistics sector, with a strong focus on international business development and supply chain strategy.
Dameme's career includes 17 years in the US market, where she developed expertise in customer strategy and global supply chain management. Before joining Geodis, she spent five years at DB Schenker as head of global vertical market healthcare, and previously held roles at Kuehne+Nagel for nearly a decade and DHL for eight years. Her background in healthcare and life sciences is expected to be a key asset in her new role.
In her new capacity, Dameme will oversee Geodis's commercial strategy across its international freight forwarding operations, with a mandate to accelerate business growth, strengthen customer relationships, and improve commercial performance. The company highlighted her international experience and sector-specific knowledge as critical to expanding its global footprint.
Geodis's announcement, made via LinkedIn, expressed confidence in Dameme's ability to drive the company's commercial objectives.
